Vates Foundation briefly

Vates Foundation advocates for the policies and equal rights of people with partial disabilities and long-term illnesses to find employment and stay in the working life.

Our everyday activities consist mainly of development, research, advocating, influencing, and training.

We actively participate in the development of subsidized and supported employment, coaching, and rehabilitating as well as supporting services.

And we work in co-operation with employment, rehabilitation, and education stakeholders.

Our funding largely comes from an annual grant from Funding Centre for Social Welfare and Health Organisations (STEA), and by applying for project funding from different sources.

Vates Foundation is a third sector non-profit organization established in 1993, with 42 background organizations and associations.
